This 1971 Seiko features the 6139--one of the first automatic chonrographs ever made. The champagne "Resist" dial is vibrant and gorgeous and features a English/Arabic day wheel. The 39mm case is in excellent condition and comes on a Seiko bracelet.
The story of Seiko began in 1881, when a 22 year old entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened a shop selling and repairing watches and clocks in central Tokyo. Just eleven years later, in 1892, he established the 'Seikosha' factory.
