The Seiko Navigator Timer features the same movement and barrel-shaped tonneau case as it's World Timer sibling, but the dial layout features a rotating 24-hour inner bezel to allow for tracking a second time zone with the kinked red 24-hour hand. This particular one dates to September of 1975. Comes on the heavy-duty mesh bracelet pictured.
The story of Seiko began in 1881, when a 22 year old entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened a shop selling and repairing watches and clocks in central Tokyo. Just eleven years later, in 1892, he established the 'Seikosha' factory.
