Why are Omega watch parts hard to find
Omega watches eventually need repairs made for their timepieces and it has become frustratingly hard to find replacement parts. For good reason. Big companies like Omega, Tag Heuer and others won’t sell parts direct to anyone who isn’t a Certified Omega Service not because they would rather you send them the watches for repair and charge exorbitant prices. And this makes for problems for Omega and other brands. The cost to ship your watch overseas is high along with them wanting to restore the watch to new can cost thousands,, maybe a lot more that you really need for a simple replacement part. The real reason they don't sell parts to any Joe, is because they want to make sure "Joe" knows how to install and or #service and Omega, or Tag Heuer watch and so. They are only supplying #Omega Certified and Authorized service shops that have been Trained and or tested by these manufacturers. I think its a great idea as I have seen some butchers out there.
At Arlington watch works we are #Omega Certified technicians and more.
